Our Westmorland Pepper Cake tea towel features the recipe of a traditional 18th century spiced fruit cake originating from the Kendal area.  The design incorporates emblems from the Westmorland county flag.
 
This really is a delicious and unusual cake.  We think it derserves to be enjoyed more often!
